Amy is a Media Specialist at White Bear Lake HS - North Campus, which is a grades 9-10 school. Her career includes 13 years teaching 6th grade Language Arts at North Branch Middle school, four years as the Media Specialist/Tech Integrationist at North Branch HS, and now on her eighth year at WBLHS - North Campus. Her Undergraduate Elementary Education Degree is from UMD and her Master's Degree in Information Media (Library Media Track) and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology are from SCSU. Amy's goals of finding the right book for every student, creating spaces students can collaborate and learn in, and providing access to resources for teachers and students have not changed but the spaces to do this in has. She has been a part of three very different MC remodels in her years as a media specialist and has learned much from each experience. Her favorite genre to read, today, is historical mystery, but it will probably change tomorrow.
