Glencoe-Silver Lake High School students will demonstrate their engineering projects and share how the 3-D printer has improved their design skills.

Coding and Digital-Age Learning: Let's Get Coding at TIES!
Experience the Hour of Code and take advantage of hands-on, fun opportunities to explore digital-age learning experiences through coding.  This session will provide interactive coding opportunities on a variety of platforms and topics, including Scratch, coding with iPads, unplugged activities, and programming with Finch Robots.  Facilitators and students will be on hand to answer questions, demonstrate activities, and share ideas about ways to bring coding back to your school.

iMovie Trailers are quick and easy because most of the work is already done for you. Choose a theme, type the words, add pictures and a little video. Voila -- a dazzling trailer. Come work with a fifth grade student expert to make your own iMovie Trailer. Then watch it on YouTube! iPads will be provided.
