Bringing A New Voice To Libraries and Schools Through Makerspaces
There are so many ways libraries and schools are being redesigned and changing. One way is by adding Makerspaces -- new places for creativity, collaboration, and connections. Learn how Shannon McClintock Miller and her students added a Makerspace and tools like a Makerbot 3D printer, LittleBits, knitting, and Maker Lunches to the library. Little did they know what these changes would bring to the entire school community. See how the students have been inspired through project-based learning, individual passions, and global connections to make a difference within their MakerSpace, school, and the world.

Explore new Google education tools, including Classroom and Google Play for Education. Take part in a Q&A with questions such as: How do we create a sustainable technology plan that is not only manageable from a technical perspective, but also in line with district curriculum goals? What are the biggest roadblocks to change at the district level? How might we structure professional development to move teachers from substitution to the upper ladders of SAMR?
