Kim Whaley of Read Naturally

Booth 308
During her years in education, Kim has focused on the importance of reading and literacy as a foundation for all learning. Along with supporting educators in an administrative role as an assistant principal and an instructional coach, she has had the privilege of teaching in kindergarten through eighth-grade classrooms as well as in undergraduate and graduate classrooms. She has masters degrees in reading and literacy, and educational leadership and is currently working on her dissertation for her doctorate in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.

From her first exposure to Read Naturally, Kim knew the program had a great ability to impact students’ reading skills. Kim appreciates how Read Naturally motivates students and successfully addresses the specific reading needs of students of varied backgrounds and levels.
