It’s about taking things apart and putting them back together. It’s about making it happen. It’s about students working on projects of their own design, using a variety of materials and tools: from low-tech balsa wood and duct tape to high-tech 3-D printers.Makerspaces guide students in asking both “how” and “why does this work?”_x000B__x000B_Dive right into hands-on learning in the TIES 2014 Makerspace Experience.  Local experts have come together to create a diverse makerspace that includes over six distinct featured areas, including recyclables, circuits and makey-makey kits, programming, arduinos, simple robots, 3D imaging and printing, stop-motion animation, LEGOS, and more.
