TIES 2014

iChoose is a framework for integrating technology and providing authentic learning experiences for students to show what they know. iChoose supports self-directed, self-aware learners who advocate for themselves and navigate their learning in a technology enhanced classroom. Participants will learn how to incorporate academic choice opportunities for students based on principles of Responsive Classroom, the SAMR model and Bloom’s Taxonomy. A guided discovery will be included to help gain a deeper understanding of the experience from a student’s perspective. Participants will have collaborative work time to adapt the framework for their own classrooms.
