Alyssa Ambrosius
MAFCS Planning Committee & FACS Teacher
Alyssa Ambrosius is a high school Family & Consumer Science teacher at Monticello High School for the past 8 years. She loves teaching high school in her two teacher department. Culinary I, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Careers, Teen Issues & Family Living are her specialties. Alyssa loves writing new curriculum for her classes and enjoys teaching with current events and trends to drive her curriculum.
Alyssa has been a part of the MAFCS planning committee since 2016, planning both this year's conference in Rochester and last year's conference in Duluth, Minnesota.
Alyssa has been awarded the MAFCS New Teacher of the Year in 2015 & authored a bestseller
Farm to School Activities curriculum through Learning ZoneXpress with Karen Smith.
