I am a 6th year teacher, teaching 2nd grade at Sawtooth Mountain Elementary in Cook County Schools. I am also launching a "high potential" program for students K-5 at my school.

I enjoy talking about my first few months living up on the North Shore, so feel free to ask me about living next to Lake Superior, the cold wind, and fighting the urge to sit in Target/Caribou/Barnes and Noble all day(I miss them so!)! I also love talking about Ojibwe language and culture and how I am trying to implement it into our school environment utilizing technology!
